Clifton 10
₹12,999 · choose a size
The Clifton has been the default recommendation for runners wanting a soft, no-fuss daily shoe for a decade, and the 10th generation raises the stack again — up to 42mm in the heel — while bumping the drop to 8mm for a slightly more natural transition. Compression-moulded EVA keeps the ride cushioned without turning mushy, and the wide, stable platform makes it as forgiving at kilometre 2 as it is at kilometre 20.
First Stride lists EU sizing as the primary scale, with UK equivalents on each size button. Running shoes should have a thumb's width of room at the toe — if you are between sizes, take the larger one. Wide feet should size up half in Asics and Nike.

Positioning
Hoka Clifton 10: Clifton 10 does the first-proper-trainer job with a tall 44mm EVA stack and steep 12mm drop for maximum forgiveness.
Xtep 2000KM 5.0: The 2000KM 5.0 does it leaner, at a 29mm stack and flatter 7mm drop, for a more ground-level introduction to daily mileage.
Weight
Hoka Clifton 10: Clifton 10's taller stack gives noticeably more cushion underfoot for long days on your feet.
Xtep 2000KM 5.0: The 2000KM 5.0 is 19g lighter.
Outsole
Hoka Clifton 10: Clifton 10 mixes high-abrasion rubber with flex grooves for a smooth roll.
Xtep 2000KM 5.0: The 2000KM 5.0's DURA CPU compound is independently abrasion-rated to survive the higher mileage a first trainer usually sees.
