The long version

The Vomero has always been Nike's plush answer to a long day on your feet, and the 18 pushes that further than any version before it — a 46mm stack, six millimetres taller than the outgoing model, splits ZoomX over ReactX for a ride that's soft underfoot without feeling vague. The engineered mesh upper is roomier through the midfoot than the Pegasus, and the wide platform keeps things stable even at that height. Reach for this on the days your legs just need kilometres, not a workout.
