Superblast 3
₹18,995 · choose a size
The Superblast has always been the shoe for runners who want race-day cushioning without giving up a training shoe's durability, and the 3 doubles down by swapping in FF LEAP — the foam borrowed from the Metaspeed racing line — for the bulk of its towering stack. The result trades the old Superblast's firmer, businesslike feel for something noticeably softer and livelier underfoot, while a thin FF BLAST PLUS base layer keeps things from turning mushy at speed. Still no plate — it earns its pop through foam and geometry alone, and somehow does it while shedding weight.
First Stride lists EU sizing as the primary scale, with UK equivalents on each size button. Running shoes should have a thumb's width of room at the toe — if you are between sizes, take the larger one. Wide feet should size up half in Asics and Nike.

Plate
Asics Superblast 3: Superblast 3 is plateless, relying on FF LEAP and FF BLAST PLUS foam alone.
Xtep 160X 6.5 Pro: The 160X 6.5 Pro runs a full-length carbon plate — a more aggressive, race-leaning platform aimed at tune-up races rather than just long runs.
Stack
Asics Superblast 3: Superblast 3's 46mm stack gives it more outright cushioning for the longest efforts.
Xtep 160X 6.5 Pro: The 160X 6.5 Pro's lower 39mm stack and carbon plate favour faster workouts instead.
Weight
Asics Superblast 3: The two land within 5g of each other.
Xtep 160X 6.5 Pro: So the ride difference here comes down to plate and foam tuning, not weight.
