Adizero Evo SL
₹13,995 · choose a size
The Evo SL is what happens when adidas strips a carbon-plated racer down to its foam and asks what if this was all you needed. A full-length slab of Lightstrike Pro — the same supercritical foam in the Adios Pro line — sits under a no-frills, race-inspired upper with zero plate and zero rods, just pure rebound. It rides plush for something this light, turns over quickly at tempo pace, and has become a cult favourite among runners who want race-day pop without race-day fragility.
First Stride lists EU sizing as the primary scale, with UK equivalents on each size button. Running shoes should have a thumb's width of room at the toe — if you are between sizes, take the larger one. Wide feet should size up half in Asics and Nike.

Midsole & transition
Adidas Adizero Evo SL: Pure Lightstrike Pro yields a plush yet energetic sensation, transitioning with a smooth, continuous heel-to-toe rolling geometry. It favours cruising and handles long distances up to a full marathon easily.
Xtep 2000KM 5.0 Pro: Uses an energetic supercritical PEBA foam mix that feels slightly denser and firmer initially, delivering a sharp, explosive toe-off pop rather than a soft roll — faster paces feel snappy, though it's best suited up to half-marathon distances.
Upper & lockdown
Adidas Adizero Evo SL: A light, technical engineered mesh (or woven variant) offers high breathability, though heel lockdown can feel standard and minimalist.
Xtep 2000KM 5.0 Pro: A comfortable, integrated jacquard or water-resistant upper is built for secure midfoot lockdown, often praised for plush step-in comfort.
Outsole & grip
Adidas Adizero Evo SL: Strategic Continental rubber patches perform reliably on dry and damp roads.
Xtep 2000KM 5.0 Pro: An aggressive CPU anti-slip Dura rubber outsole excels in heavy rain and wet, greasy conditions.
