FF BLAST and FF TURBO — Kobe engineering, bouncy geometry.
Asics builds around FF BLAST and FF TURBO PLUS foams with a bias toward smooth transitions and long-run comfort. Novablast for bouncy daily kilometres, Superblast for the do-everything trainer that many runners now race in, Metaspeed for a purpose-built marathon shoe in stride and split versions.
New Balance

Adidas rebuilt its running line around Lightstrike Pro, a supercritical foam that shows up everywhere from the plateless Adizero EVO SL to the four-rod Adios Pro 4 that has powered multiple marathon records. Pick Adidas when you want a foam-forward ride and a race-day shoe that has actually been on the podium.
Hoka
Maximalist cushioning that started in the French Alps — now the tallest stacks on the road.
HOKA built its name on oversized, ultra-cushioned midsoles designed for the downhills of French ultra-trail racing, and that maximalist DNA now runs through everything from the marshmallow-soft Bondi to the carbon-plated Rocket X. Li-Ning李宁
